Each year about one million Americans experience a heart attack. Through this course students will understand signs and symptoms as well as causes and risk factors. Topics on screening and tests in addition to complications are presented. A discussion on treatment and preventative measures follow.

1. Describe the risk factors for developing a heart attack.
2. List the signs, symptoms, and causes of a heart attack.
