When detected early, prostate cancer has a high treatment success rate with minimal side effects. But each year, 230,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer and 29,000 die from the disease. Students will learn what symptoms to look for and what causes this cancer. Who is at greater risk and what are the direct and indirect complications? What are the various treatments and what preventative measures can be taken? These and many more questions will be answered in this course.
