Students will gain an excellent understanding of these amazing organs that are responsible for filtering the blood and sustaining life. How do the kidneys function and what causes them to fail? What are the signs and symptoms of renal failure and the various types of conditions that can occur? Students will find the answers to these questions and much more. Discussions on diagnosis and complications plus an awareness of treatments and medications available will be gained.
