1. I added my continuing education courses to my basket and paid for them. How do I start taking my courses?

After purchasing your courses, click on the ‘Available courses’ link at the top menu on any page of the site. You must be signed in under your user login. Got to the course(s) you purchased. To find your courses, you can scroll through the course pages or use the page links. You can find these page links just before the first course, and just after the last course on every ‘Available courses’ page.

Once you find the course(s) you purchased and wish to read, you will see a link ‘To read the course’ under the course description and details. Clicking on this link will take you to the course material.


2. After purchasing a continuing education course, how do I get access to a test and begin taking it?

First, login to the website. Tests are accessed after you have purchased and read the course material. Find your course in the ‘Available courses ’ section and click on ‘To read the course’ link under the course description. Once you have read the material and are prepared to take the test, click on the link at the bottom of the course ‘CLICK HERE when you have completed reading the course’.

Read the important messages and confirm you are ready to begin the test by click ‘YES’. Clicking yes will begin a test attempt. Be sure you are prepared and have sufficient time to take the test.


3. I am purchasing courses on another person’s credit card or someone else is purchasing them for me. Is this okay?

Yes, this is allowable. Like any other online system accepting payments, we are made aware of any online CE purchased under a name other than the student registering. Additionally, at the time of payment, the purchaser will need to confirm they are purchasing online CE services for the registered student.


4. Is emsMedic.com continuing education credits acceptable for emt recertification in my state? Is it acceptable continuing education for National Registry?

Yes. emsMedic.com is accepted in all 50 states. All our courses are nationally approved by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS). Our continuing education is accepted by the NREMT whose criteria requires continuing education to be approved through either a state EMS office, CECBEMS or both. 5. How do I print a certificate?

Your computer should have access to a printer. Log into the site. Go to the available courses page where the course you completed is located. A link called Print certificate is located on the bottom left under the course description. Click on this linkyou’re your certificate will appear in a window. You can print the certificate by selecting ‘File’ at the windows menu line and then ‘Print’. You must pass the course test before a certificate of completion is available to print. Certificates are available in this manner for 60 days.


6. If I do not pass a course test how many times can I reattempt it?

You can take a test a maximum of two times. The majority of students pass the courses test on the first attempt. It is important to read the material and understand it prior to taking the test.


7. Do you have a complete recert program which includes online continuing education, Skills Testing and CPR recert?

Yes. Please click on the Skills link . We provide skills testing nationwide for EMS professionals. Our skills instructors come to you and have over 20 years of experience providing skills testing to EMT and EMS professionals in general. CPR recertification can be completed at the same time. 8. I don’t have a Paypal account. Can I use a credit card?

Yes. Credit cards can be used to pay for your online EMT / EMS continuing education. You would just enter your credit card information using the Paypal credit card payment window. You don’t need a to have a Paypal account and no log in is necessary. Here’s how.

When you are done making your continuing education course selections and have filled your basket, click on ‘PAY’ at the bottom of the basket.

The Paypal log in window will appear. Click on the ‘Continue’ link at the left side of the window just above the images of the credit card logos.

The window to Pay with Credit Card will appear. Your continuing education course selections will appear at the top of the window along with your total payment amount. . Enter your credit card billing information in the required fields, review your order and click the continue button. Your payment will be processed and you will be sent a receipt.
